🎸 Frequently Asked Questions

At Morris Guitar Company, we’re here to make your guitar buying experience smooth, transparent, and enjoyable. Below are answers to the most common questions we get about used and refurbished guitars, shipping, pickup, financing, and more.

💰 Do you offer financing or pay-later options?

Yes! We offer flexible financing through Klarna, so you can buy now and pay later. Here are the available options:

  • Klarna Installments: Pay in 3 or 4 interest-free payments.

  • Klarna Financing: Spread payments over 6–36 months (may include interest).

  • Klarna Pay Later: Pay the full amount 30 days after your purchase.

Financing is available at checkout for most customers.

📦 How will you package my guitar for safe shipping?

We take shipping safety seriously. Our standard packaging process includes:

  • Wrapping the guitar’s body and headstock in bubble wrap

  • Sealing the guitar in a large protective bag

  • Placing it in a sturdy shipping box on top of more bubble wrap

  • Filling any gaps with extra packing material for a snug, secure fit

Our packaging has been tested and proven to protect guitars during shipping!

🚚 What shipping company do you use?

We ship all guitars via FedEx, our preferred and trusted shipping partner.

🛍️ Is local pickup available?

Yes! Local pickup is available at:

3757 N State Hwy H, Springfield, MO 65803
Please call or text us at (336) 350-5522 to schedule your pickup.

🇺🇸 What states do you ship to?

We currently ship to all 48 contiguous U.S. states (continental United States).

🎸 What is a refurbished guitar?

A refurbished guitar may have had a cosmetic blemish or minor repair. All refurbished guitars sold by Morris Guitar Company are:

  • Professionally repaired (if needed)

  • Fully inspected and set up by a manufacturer-authorized refurbisher

  • Clearly described if any cosmetic flaws or repairs are visible

Most refurbished guitars show no signs of wear and play like new.

🔖 Why do some guitars have a “used” stamp on the headstock?

Our refurbishing partners add a “used” stamp to protect manufacturers from improper warranty claims. This also tells you:

  • The guitar has been professionally refurbished and inspected

  • It meets high standards for sale
Many experienced players see the “used” stamp as a mark of quality.

🔢 Why do some guitars have a reassigned serial number?

This is also done by the refurbisher in cooperation with the original manufacturer. Like the “used” stamp, a reassigned serial number helps protect warranty policies and signals that the instrument has undergone a full professional refurbishment.

🎒 Will my guitar ship with a case or gig bag?

Not all guitars include a case or gig bag. If one is included, it will be clearly mentioned in the product listing.

If you need a case, contact us at hello@morrisguitarcompany.com — we may have one available for an additional cost.

🧰 Do you inspect and set up each guitar before shipping? ⬅️ New FAQ (Highly recommended)
